It's a new decade, and NAMM is back again. Starting on Thursday, EQ will bring you coverage of the annual music-gear convention in Anaheim, CA. We'll have some iPhone photos, Twitterings, Facebook updates, videos, and blogs coming in between meetings with gear manufacturers, dinners, and parties. It'll be an action-packed event, as always.

I'm not sure how many NAMM events I've got under my belt at this point (10, maybe?), but a lot has changed since I was a bright-eyed kid fresh out of college, discovering that you could actually record on a computer (back when I was editorial assistant for Keyboard magazine). It's amazing how far the technology has come in the last ten or so years.

Later this week, I'll have reports from dozens of manufacturers, including Waves, Cakewalk, Line 6, Blue Mics, iZotope, MOTU, Numark, Roland, Universal Audio, and much more. I'll even chat with Grammy Award-nominated producer, Carmen Rizzo. And there may be a few surprises in there. (I hear Yoko Ono will be on hand at the convention.)
I look forward to sharing everything I discover at this year's event.

Stay tuned, as I should surface by Thursday afternoon, once I arrive in Anaheim.
