Today marks the beginning of the 133rd Audio Engineering Society convention, which takes place in our glorious hometown of San Francisco. If you're here in town, welcome! And if you have to live vicariously through us, well, we'll try to make it as fun and informative as we can.

The show kicks off in a few hours with a highly anticipated keynote speech by super-producer  Steve Lillywhite. (And when we say super-producer, we're talking Rolling Stones, U2, Peter Gabriel, The Killers...the list goes on...) The theme? "Listen With Your Ears, Not Your Eyes." We couldn't agree more, and can't wait to hear what he has to say. Then we'll be off to check out some pre-show product previews, including some very lovely microphones and some pretty space-age earbuds. You'll get the whole scoop as we do, and while you're waiting, be sure to check in on our AES Information Central page for links to our blogs, Twitter feed, and Facebook updates.  (And for a complete show calendar, visit www.aes.org)

If you're at the show this weekend, come by booth 620. We'd love to say hello!
