As we all know, it takes a village to make a record. On Wednesday night, I attended the annual Recording Academy Producers and Engineers Wing party honoring the people behind the scenes in music. I was fortunate to have an opportunity to interview many of these legends for CBS, to learn how the honorees, Quincy Jones and Al Schmitt, have inspired them in their own careers, and find out what the evening meant to them.
