TC Electronic is shipping the PowerCore X8 Sonnox Edition ($1,845), a mixing solution comprised of a PowerCore X8 bundled with the Sonnox Oxford EQ and Oxford Dynamics plug-ins.

The PowerCore X8 features eight DSP engines that have double the processing power of PowerCore FireWire, and allow additional plug-ins to be used simultaneously with native DAWs. The PowerCore X8 comes with 14 plug-ins total and PowerCore 3.0 system software, which adds new user interfaces and features to the PowerCore platform.
