Collectively, Chief Marketer, PROMO, Multichannel Merchant and DIRECT should become an interactive community destination and the single source for all information needed by marketers: this is where marketers meet.


The websites should be integrated into one coherent brand, creating a look and feel that tells the front-end user moving from site to site that he is remaining within the Penton marketing suite. Additionally, sites should be managed through a single content management system that can publish articles across all four websites. The goal is to make it easy for users to identify the four marketing properties as belonging to a marketing group of publications. All four will retain distinctive branding because they serve different segments of the marketing space.
