Submersible Music has introduced the Matt Sorum MattPack I DrummerPack ($79.95), for use with its DrumCore 1.5 (Mac) software. The collection of grooves from the drummer of Guns N' Roses and Velvet Revolver comes pre-configured with metadata information for use with the DrumCore search engine. This provides quick access to grooves, fills, variations. and individual drum sounds and allows you to search content based on style (rock, funk, alternative, etc.), feel (straight, shuffle, etc.), time signature, and tempo. Users can even add their own criteria and enter their own comments for searching. DrumCore also exports directly to Digidesign Pro Tools, Emagic Logic, and MOTU Digital Performer sessions.

The audio is recorded at 48 kHz. 24-bits, and the grooves were tracked in 5-bpm increments. MIDI drum kits are also included.
