Trillium Lane Labs has announced TL Aggro (Mac/Win) and TL AutoPan (Mac/Win), two new effects plug-ins for Digidesign Pro Tools. TL Aggro offers analog-style compression, modeled on vintage FET compressors. According to the manufacturer, the DSP algorithms in TL Aggro use a feedback topology with a program-dependent release time which they say yields more natural compression characteristics. TL Aggro can be stereo linked and includes low-frequency compensation capabilities for compressing full mixes or bass instruments.

TL AutoPan offers stereo and surround effects with tempo synchronization, and trigger and envelope detection features. The plug-in includes graphic metering of output and pan position. For more information, visit Trillium Lane Labs online.
