MPCsounds.com has announced Orchestral Percussion, a new sound library for the Akai MPC1000, 2000, XL, 3000, LE, and 4000 drum machines.

The list of percussion includes snare drums, timpani, cymbals, brake drums, gongs, tuned percussion (marimba, chimes, xylophone), tambourine, and woodblock. Turbo versions of the library are offered on MPC CD-ROM and Zip disks. Regular versions are available on floppy disk or as downloads. The turbo version contains more instruments, with many more articulations and longer samples.
