PMI Audio Group is shipping the EC-1 channel strip and the DC-2 dual-channel compressor. The EC-1 ($799) combines a mic preamp, a FET compressor, and an EQ in a 1U device. The preamp includes 48V phantom power, phase reverse, a mic/line switch, and an instrument-level input. The EQ has four sweepable bands and can be placed before or after the compressor in the signal chain or switched off entirely. The FET compressor includes attack, release, ratio, and make-up gain controls, and the VU meter can display output level or gain reduction.

The 2-channel DC-2 ($799) offers FET compression with controls for input level, attack, release, ratio, and make-up gain. The dual VU meters can display output level or gain reduction.
