Native Instruments has announced Electronics Instruments 2 (Mac/Win; $119), a collection of eight new instruments for Reaktor 4 and Reaktor Session. The collection includes three synthesizers, two drum machines, and three effects units.

Photone Hybrid Master Synthesizer is a polyphonic synth with custom oscillators, flexible filter routing, analogue "drift" and detuning emulation, and advanced modulation options. Limelite combines a step-sequencer, samples, and an array of effects processors. Metaphysical Function is described simply as a "dynamic soundscape synthesizer."

Krypt is a beat generator that combines a programmable granular sampler and a 6-channel sequencer with a pattern-creation algorithm. Akkord is a sequenced chord generator that offers a synth engine and a polyphonic pattern sequencer.

Fast FX has six effects, including freeze, filtering, gating, and looping. Resochord is a polyphonic resonator offering six feedback generators. Cyan is a chorus effect with delay modulation and tempo sync capabilities.
