Cakewalk has released new expansion packs ($59 each) for Rapture and Dimension Pro: BioLabs Volume 1 and Digital Sound Factory Volume 1.

Biolabs Volume 1 is a new Rapture Expansion Pack containing 250 sounds programmed by Biomechanoid. The expansion pack includes a 230 MB sample library for use with Rapture's sfz Expression Engine. The first Cakewalk expansion pack to be released since the free Rapture 1.1 update, Biolabs Volume 1 utilizes all of the new features of Rapture 1.1: filters, DSP routings, DSP transforms, and step sequencers.

Digital Sound Factory Volume 1 is the latest expansion pack for Dimension Pro. The expansion pack includes over 200 new presets programmed by sound designer Timothy Swartz, and packs 520 MB of new content recorded and engineered from a Yamaha Conservatory grand piano. Multiple velocities of pedal up, pedal down, and key up were recorded to preserve the acoustic harmonic content. The Digital Sound Factory Volume 1 set also expands upon Dimension Pro's factory set of orchestral instruments, layers, splits, electric pianos, and basses.
