VirSyn Releases Poseidon 1.4

By | Tue, 17 Jul 2007

VirSyn has released Poseidon 1.4, which introduces PoleZero Filter technology.

PoleZero Filter has eight bandpass and notch filters for modeling complex resonant characteristics. The new technology allows you to morph between two filter parameter sets (called “Filter A” and “Filter B”) and interpolate between two resonant structures in real time. There is also a Cutoff parameter, which lets you move the complete filter structure up and down the frequency range in real time.

Poseidon 1.4, which is free for current Poseidon users, also features a new filter for emulating of analog 24 dB lowpass, as well as 50 presets demonstrating the new filter types.

A demo version is available at VirSyn's Web site.
