Releasing their first album in six years, production partners Jan St. Werner and Andi Toma compile a full-length far less pixelated than 2006’s detuned Varcharz. Deemphasizing granular spattering, the German duo erects a structure from clean timbres, portamento melodies, and clubminded cadences. Never neglecting accessibility, they superimpose wavering degrees of filtered, edged resonance, thickening collaged harmonics into a dilated aggregate.
