Laptoprockers Eddie the Gun Remix Cotest

Laptoprockers teamed up with Camilla Romestrand and Slanted Black Records to launch the "Eddie the Gun" Remix Contest. Contestants will be required to remix her "Don't Be Afraid" song. Prizes include mastering plug-ins from Sonoris Audio Engineering and Eclipse MP3 player, Third Shift T-shirts and posters from Steez. The top three remixes will be featured on a Slanted Black Records remix EP.

Ableton Summer Music Challenge

To take the Ableton Summer Music Challenge, students must upload their tracks to SoundCloud to enter the competition. Then, they share their track with the world via their favorite social networks. The tracks with the most plays by August 31, 2010, will be presented to the official Ableton Summer Music Challenge Jury. The Jury will then select the grand prize winners. There will be two competition age group: under 15 and 15 to 18.
