POP Montreal has added more headliners for its 9th edition taking place September 29 to October 3. Adding to the list of headliners previously announced which included Swans, Liars, Deerhoof, Marnie Stern and Van Dyke Parks, POP has announced The XX, Tom Tom Club, Solange, Menomena!, Gotan Project, Wovenhand, Timber Timbre, Scout Niblett, Immolation. There will also be showcases by Out of this Spark, Sounds Familyre and Asthmatic Kitty, Semprini Records, Alien8 Recordings and Tee Pee Records.
 
In the coming months POP will continue to announce more of its line-up plus the onslaught of film, late-night after-parties, symposium, art shows and indie craft fair.
