Edirol has released version 2 software for the M-16DX digital mixer, multi-I/O computer interface and production console. The M-16DX features 18 inputs, 24-bit, 96 kHz processing, a 3-band sweepable EQ, 3 effects, and now, DAW control.

The updated software offers Cakewalk Sonar and Apple Logic modes, enabling auto-map-like control. The software can also be used to control other software with MIDI Learn, such as Propellerhead Reason and Ableton Live. With this update, you also get an expanded Scene Memory function which now has 16 editable memories.

The version 2 software is available as a free download.
