Musicrow's latest release is Magic Vox ($99), a virtual instrument comprised of the sampled sounds of 12 different guitars. Magic Vox features an advanced synthesis engine, a noise-shaper section, and the ability to layer multiple guitar sources and make hybrid sounds. According to the manufacturer, Magic Vox can produce a wide range of sounds, from velvet keyboards to distorted leads, organs, mallets, exotic string instruments, and more.

The effects section includes traditional and special effects, including delay, reverb, Granular effects, and magic effects. Magic Vox also has a multimode resonant filter section with lowpass, bandpass, highpass, and notch; two equalizers—one for each sound source; and two VU meters for volume monitoring.

The guitars sampled for Magic Vox are the Gibson ES-335, Gibson Les Paul Standard, Fender Stratocaster, Fender Telecaster, Gretsch Nashville, Classic Alvarez, Classic Rodriguez, Acoustic Taylor 814ce, Acoustic Martin D12 (12 Strings), Resonator Guitar, Hofner Bass Guitar, and Fender Precision Bass.
