Puremagnetik has released Metalsphere, a new Micropak collection of soundscapes, textures, and "horrific environments" for Ableton Live 7, Apple Logic 8, and Native Instruments Kontakt 3.

Both the Ableton Live and Kontakt versions have sound-shaping controls that let you morph between signal sources. The Kontakt version includes customized KSP menus for easy access to filters and amplitude envelopes, while the Ableton Live version is preprogrammed with effect macros and advanced Live Rack controls.

All versions of Metalsphere include multilayered menus with sounds that were constructed to go together, instant access to sounds, the tools to edit those sounds, and more. The Live and Logic versions feature individual modules for layering sounds. Each module comes from a different sound source and can be layered together or individually.
