Yamaha has introduced the KX Series of USB MIDI keyboard studios. There are four keyboards in the series, each named for its number of keys: the KX25 ($399), the KX49 ($449), the KX61 ($499), and the KX88 ($799).

KX keyboard studios have four assignable control knobs, dedicated performance controls, and DAW integration controls for software synthesizers and sequencers. Included in the box is Steinberg Cubase AI music production software, and the new X Factor DVD from Yamaha. X Factor is a large collection of sounds and VST instruments from manufacturers such as IK Multmedia, Sonic Reality, FXpansion, Arturia, and Keyfax.

All are available now except for the KX88, which will be available in May, 2008. For more information, visit www.yamaha.com.
