AFROPUNK is not a genre; it's an idea. The festival is a celebration of the all of the diverse communities populating the modern DIY landscape. Along with the music, attendees will be in the presence of pop-up shops, skaters, food trucks, performance artists and future runway models all accelerating/shifting culture and style right before your very eyes, in one unique setting. A look around AFROPUNK FEST will give credence as to why the New York Times described it as "the most multicultural festival in the US".
