Clavia is now shipping the Nord Modular G2, a modular digital synthesizer that combines a hardware synth with a graphical PC-based patch editor. Version 1.10 of the operating system and editor features Master/MIDI Clock Sync of LFO and audio delay times, a new sound library, and a number of bug fixes and improvements. The update and sound library is available as a free downloaded at www.clavia.se.

Clavia has also announced the Voice Expansion board for the G2, which allows you to expand the polyphony of G2 patches to twice the original amount. The Voice Expansion board features four extra DSPs and RAM circuits and is easy to install, according to the company. The Voice Expansion board will also be compatible with the rackmount version of the Nord Modular G2.
