The eclectic and sweaty horde that braved the 110-degree heat numbered somewhere between 80,000-85,000, shattering previous attendance records and making the 2012 edition of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival an obvious success. Many of these sunbaked festival goers are drawn to the desert by the sounds of electronic music, and were rewarded with a large selection from across the spectrum. The Coachella Stage hosted the large stage shows of Radiohead, Swedish House Mafia, and Justice, along with a daytime set on Sunday from Santigold. Out in the middle of the grounds on the way to the Sahara tent, which hosted a large majority of the electronic performances, the Do Lab was almost like a small electronic festival within Coachella. Goldenvoice did an excellent job of rounding out the lineup for their 12th year in a row with a multifaceted lineup of electronic artists, such as: Miike Snow, Amon Tobin, and Neon Indian.
