“Factory Floor is deadly serious about having fun, but the release it facilitates comes at the cost of submission to its unblinking rhythm. Blink and you'll miss it.” - NPR
“The album absolutely kicks ass.” - Stereogum
With the band’s performances at Coachella on the horizon, Factory Floor is excited to debut their new video for “How You Say.” Directed by Factory Floor’s own Nik Void and Dan Tombs, the video features Factory Floor’s lead singer Nik Void confined to an old TV as neon visuals fall in and out of sync with the video. Watch the video here. The track is one of the highlights of the band’s self-titled debut record, released in 2013 on DFA records. The band is also planning a “How You Say” EP series, set for release on DFA this spring. Divided up into two digital EPs and three physical 12” EPs. The EPs feature the “How You Say” original, as well as remixes from Daniel Avery, Invisible Conga People, Gunnar Haslam, Bookworms, and Helena Hauff. You can hear the original track, Daniel Avery’s remix, and Helena Hauff’s take on the song here. Full release date info below.
The band is also in the middle of a rare U.S. tour that sees the band playing a series of West Coast shows, including stops in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Portland, as well as a coveted date at Coachella. Following their West Coast run, the band will return to the East Coast, performing at Moogfest in Asheville, Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn, and U Street Music Hall in D.C. Full tour dates above. The band also stopped in this week with KEXP. Fans can hear the full audio of their session here
