Image line Software Releases Autogun Synthesizer Plug-in

June 3, 2009

Image Line Software has released Autogun (Win XP/Vista), a synthesizer plug-in available as a free download from the company's Web site.

Autogun includes many presets (4,294,967,296 to be exact) and is based on the Ogun VSTi synthesizer in that it produces rich metallic and shimmering timbres and much more. According to the manufacturer, Autogun can produce so many presets because its synthesis parameters are controlled by an artificial intelligence, patch-creation algorithm.

Every Autogun is set to start from a unique preset number, so that each Autogun user is assigned a personal starting preset-address. You can at any time, however, jump to a new location in the preset-space by entering a new preset number.

Autogun will be available in the Downloads section of Image Line's Web site.
