Insomniac Announces Third Annual EDMbiz Conference & Expo

February 19, 2014

EDMbiz, electronic dance music’s premiere industry event and symposium, returns to The Cosmopolitan Hotel of Las Vegas Tuesday, June 17, Wednesday, June 18 and Thursday, June 19 for three days of insightful panels, workshops, and keynote addresses from the music world’s biggest and brightest minds. Early bird tickets are on sale now at .
Launched in 2012 as part of EDC Week in Las Vegas, EDMbiz provides an inspired forum in which artists, managers, agents, promoters, labels, publishers, producers, advertising agencies, brand execs, technologists and entrepreneurs can discuss the most relevant topics facing dance music culture today. Attendees can also experience the best of Las Vegas nightlife at a number of special EDC Week events taking place at some of the world’s hottest clubs.
In addition to new panels, formats and speakers, this year’s installment will expand to include a full-scale expo featuring EDM culture’s most sought-after music and lifestyle brands.
“EDMbiz is all about bringing together an eclectic mix of personalities and perspectives to create an inspiring, thought-provoking dialogue,” says Insomniac founder and CEO Pasquale Rotella. “That free-flowing exchange of ideas and experiences is what I love most about this conference. Learning from one another and staying in step with our fans is critical to the success and longevity of our culture.”
Last year’s conference was highlighted by a keynote address from CAA Managing Partner and Head of Worldwide Music Rob Light, as well as a one-on-one conversation between Marc Geiger (head of William Morris Endeavor's music division) and Perry Farrell. Other participants last year included Matthew Adell, CEO, Beatport; Bruce Eskowitz, COO, Red Light Management; Steve Aoki, artist; Shelly Finkel, Vice Chairman, SFX Entertainment, Geronimo, Director of Programming Electronic/Dance Format, SIRIUSXM, Maria May, CAA; and more than 40 additional top executives across the board.
