The Receptor 2 series of hardware VST plug-in players now run Native Instrument''s new Komplete 7 collection of virtual instruments and effects. Komplete 7 is available pre-installed on any model of Receptor, or can be user-installed with Muse Research''s new Direct Install II technology.

Komplete 7 features 24 virtual instruments and effects from Native Instruments, with 90 Gigabytes of data delivering more than 10,000 sounds in Kontakt 4, along with the sounds from Absynth 5, Battery 3, FM 8, Massive and Reaktor 5.5. Guitarists can plug into Receptor's front panel instrument input, fire up Komplete's Guitar Rig 4 and play though this guitar effects processor.

Komplete 7 also incorporates five completely new products: studio reverb Reflektor; Reaktor Prism modal synthesizer; performance effects suite Traktor 12; and the new Vintage Organs instrument.

The line starts includes the Receptor 2 with a dual-core processor, 4 GB of RAM,and a 320GB high-performance drive for $1,599; Receptor 2 Pro features a dual-core Intel engine and 750GB drive for $1,999; Receptor 2 Pro Max offers a 1TB drive and faster Intel dual-core processor for $2,499. These prices are available only for a limited time. All three of these can have Komplete 7 pre-installed and pre-authorized for an additional $499, including multiple authorizations, so it can be installed on a DAW computer, as well.
