Now available as a Universal Binary is the Eventide Anthology II plug-in bundle, which includes more than a dozen Eventide effects, like the EQ65 Filter Set and the Octavox eight-voice diatonic pitch shifter. The upgrade is free to current Anthology II customers.

McDSP is including Analog Channel LE and ML4000 LE plug-ins in the Project Studio bundle (Mac/Win; $495). Analog Channel LE contains the tape emulation algorithms from the AC2 configuration of Analog Channel; ML4000 LE features the look-ahead brickwall limiter from the ML1 configuration of the newly released ML4000. Current Project Studio customers can get these plug-ins with a $95 upgrade.

The latest software from Notion Music (formerly VirtuosoWorks) solves the common problem of having lots of music to play but no one to play it with. Protégé (Mac/Win; $99) is an affordable composition program that allows you to write, rehearse, and perform your compositions as if you were working with a full ensemble of musicians. MORE.

Swedish software company Xponaut has introduced Voice Tweaker 4.0 (Mac/Win; $99), a pitch shifter that can transpose pitches up or down two octaves. This new and improved version, available in VST and AU plug-in formats, features pitch correction, MIDI control, an advanced modulation matrix, and lower CPU usage.
