SoundToys has released a new plug-in bundle for Pro Tools called UltraFX (Mac), which includes FilterFreak, PhaseMistress, and two new plug-ins, Crystallizer and Tremolator.

SoundToys calls Crystallizer a "granular echo synthesizer." It offers reverse echo slicing and pitch processing and includes two seconds of delay/slice time, MIDI/beat synched delays and slicing, selectable reverse/forward pitch mode, three octaves of pitch change, a built-in dynamics processor, envelope settings, and over 200 hundred presets.

Tremolator is a tremolo plug-in that can be used for standard guitar tremolo or other amplitude effects. Tremolator features over 20 tremolo shapes (with envelope control over rate and depth); a rhythm sequencer; an LFO shape editor; MIDI, beat, and tempo synchronization; control over swing, shuffle, accent, and syncopation (with rates adjustable in musical note values); a Sequence Editor for custom tremolo rhythms; analog-style distortion; and over 100 presets.

The UltraFX plug-ins support HTDM, RTAS, and AudioSuite plug-in formats for Digidesign Pro Tools HD, LE, and Mix systems. For more information, visit www.soundtoys.com.
