Nine-time Grammy award winner and library developer Larry Seyer will be on-hand at both events to give users an in-depth glimpse into GigaStudio and his breakthrough new library created specifically for GS3. Other topics that will be covered include: little known "hidden" features of GigaStudio and GigaPulse, how to get the most out of the Larry Seyer Acoustic Drums library, tips on using your GigaStudio computer more efficiently with Orchestral setups, and tips on MIDI and audio hookups with GS3 and your sequencer.

The AudioMIDI.com evening kicks off at 7 pm on Tuesday 5/10 and will spotlight everything new in GigaStudio 3, running on a dedicated DAW system from Open Labs. The Ultimate Support Systems line of stands will also be on display. The event is free to the public, but please call or email to RSVP: www.audiomidi.com/events/signup.cfm.

On Thursday 5/12, RSPE Audio Solutions will host their event starting at 7:30 pm, and will feature GS3 running on an integrated RSPE Giga Digital system. RSPE builds Giga systems for hi-profile users including Mark Isham and John Ottman. The event is free; RSVP by phone or on the web: www.protoolsusers.com/giga.

About GigaStudio 3: This new version of GigaStudio Sampling software is a from-the-ground-up rewrite of the original application, which adds dozens of new features for composers, sound designers and music producers. Available in three versions – Orchestra, Ensemble and Solo – it offers up to unlimited polyphony, 96kHz/24-bit sample support, ReWire support, VST FX, and GigaPiano 2, real-time convolution and a new look and feel to maintain GigaStudio's presence at the forefront of the sampling market. And it retains the features that made it the professional choice for sampling, such as disk streaming, the lowest latency of any sampler and the best sound libraries in the world.
