A-Designs Audio has made available the 500HR ($299), a single rackspace, dual-slot power supply designed to accommodate two processing modules conforming to the API 500 Series format, including A-Designs Audio's P-1 and EM Series microphone preamps and EM-PEQ equalizer.

Sporting a cream-colored faceplate, the 500HR is housed in an all-metal chassis. On the front panel of the unit is an on/off switch and a 48V phantom power LED, and on the rear panel is two sets of XLR inputs and outputs and a standard IEC power connector.
