AudioSpillage has released the latest version of DrumSpillage, the company's flagship Mac OS X drum and percussion synthesis plug-in. The latest 1.2 release features several key innovations and improvements.

Two new models based around FM synthesis have been added to DrumSpillage, which opens up the available sound palette even further. Sample export features allow rendering of individual drum pads or even entire kits to AIFF/WAV files for use in external sampler instruments. An interactive randomization tool quickly provides fresh inspiration and original sounds with minimum effort.

Among other additions, overall workflow and GUI operation has been refined, and users will also benefit from improved DSP performance and stability.
