Avid Announces Softube Plug-ins Compatibility with Pro Tools 11

WHAT:  Avid® and Softube, an award-winning developer of audio plug-ins, announce the entire Softube product line is now compatible with Pro Tools® 11. Softube plug-ins provide world-class quality and enhance audio recording, mixing and mastering in any project. Softube updated its plug-ins to version 2.0 to support AAX Native and DSP 64-bit formats and to improve CPU performance. The upgrade is free for all current plug-in owners. Softube plug-ins include classic tube and channel strip emulations of vintage EQ and dynamics processors from Summit, Tube-Tech, Valley People, Tonelux, and Trident. Additionally, all Softube plug-ins except TSAR-1/R reverbs are AAX DSP 64, fully compatible with Pro Tools|HDX for ultra-low latency and the efficient use of the high processing power of HDX. Avid Pro Tools software redefines professional music and audio production for today’s workflows. From all-new audio and video engines and turbocharged 64-bit performance, to expanded metering and new HD video workflows, Pro Tools 11 enables users to take on the most demanding sessions and maximize creativity.
