EastWest Offers Tutorials for Silk and Piano Collections

EastWest is offering free tutorials for EastWest/Quantum Leap Silk and Pianos collections. Silk creator and EastWest/Quantum Leap Pianos co-producer (with Doug Rogers), Nick Phoenix, leads the tutorials and explains the collections'' interfaces and capabilities.

Silk is a 25 GB software instrument featuring a collection of multisampled string and woodwind instruments from China, Persia, and India. The collection includes a variety of articulations, interval sampling (where appropriate), round robin (alternate samples), and phrases.

The Pianos collection is a software instrument also, featuring the sampled sounds of a Bechstein D-280 Concert Grand, a Steinway D Concert Grand, a Bösendorfer 290 Concert Grand, and a Yamaha C7.
