JZ Microphones has launched the JZ DMK1, a general-purpose mic kit for drum overheads and kick drums in both live and studio environments.

The JZ drum mic kit consists of three JZ BT201 small-diaphragm condenser mics: a matched pair with open cardioid capsules for overheads and a single mic with a -20dB open cardioid capsule for the kick drum.

The kit also includes JZ mic clips for all three mics and everything comes in a rigid carrying case.

The DMK1 is shipping now and available at JZ Microphones online store for a special introductory price of $1,000 until Dec. 5.
