Loopmasters has released "Global Beatworks Vol.1 — Afro Cuban Percussion," the first volume in the Global Beatworks World Percussion Series of loops and sound samples.

Featuring Simon Webster on drums and percussion, the collection offers the sounds of instruments often found in North Africa that are influenced by Cuban rhythms, such as the conga, basket loops, bongos, shakers, darbouka, djembe, maraccas and bells. More than 90 extended loops are included, in tempos of 80, 82, 85, 92, 100 and 115 beats per minute (bpm). All loops are available in Full Mixed version, along with all the individual parts, for customizable mixing and matching of grooves and patterns.
