Modartt has released version 3 of the Pianoteq software piano.
Pianoteq 3 features a new acoustic model that simulates the sound radiation of the soundboard and the cabinet, and allows you to place up to five microphones around the piano in another illustrative interface. The available mixer lets you combine the microphones into five output channels and separately adjust level and delay. This version also includes new models for vintage electric pianos, new grand pianos (C3 and M3), an improved user interface, and an advanced preset and parameter manager.
What's more, all Pianoteq customers may access Modartt's collection of add-on historical instruments for free. For further information, please visit pianoteq.com.
