Olympus Music Recorders Head To South by Southwest
Wed,13 Mar 2013
Musicians, meet your new best friends. Olympus, the world’s market leader for portable digital voice recorders, professional dictation devices and Linear PCM music recorders, is making their debut appearance at South by Southwest (SXSW) Music and Media
Conference and Festival 2013, in Austin, Texas.
Olympus will spotlight their LS Series recorders at Booth 214 from March 12 – 17, 2013. The LS Series is comprised of the LS-12, LS-14 and LS-100, all which offers professional-grade sound, internal memory with external SD/SDHC card slot for additional capacity, as well as built-in features created with musicians in mind.
The Olympus LS-100 is the professional musician’s toolbox with high-quality sound at 140dB spl, XLR connections with phantom power, and eight channel multi-track recording. The Olympus LS-14 and LS-12 are the perfect companions for any musician, with “Smart” mode dial, high-quality microphone system and intuitive design.
During the show, attendees will have the chance to win the Olympus LS-12 Linear PCM recorder, valued at $149.99. The LS-12 truly provides musicians an all-in-one recording solution with a built-in metronome and tuner, overdubbing and pre-recording functions and our new “Smart” mode, which adjusts to the best recording level based on the loudest sound.
The South by Southwest (SXSW) Conferences & Festivals offer the unique convergence of original music, independent films, and emerging technologies. Fostering creative and professional growth alike, SXSW is the premier destination for discovery. The Music and Media Conference, held March 12 – 16, aims to educate and inspire musicians and those who work with them.
