CEntrance has released the ASIO Latency Test Utility (LTU) as a free download. The LTU (Win XP) is a Precision Microsoft Windows tool that measures audio delay in your computer setup. You can use the LTU to test different hardware, drivers, and applications.

Focusrite is shipping Liquid Mix (Mac OS X), a 32-channel, DSP-powered EQ and Compressor plug-in system. Each of the 32 channels appear as a separate VST/AU/RTAS effect within the sequencer and will work within all major applications. Right now, Liquid Mix is Mac OS X only; expect the Windows XP version in October 2006.

Furman Sound has announced the SPB-8C, a new stereo pedal board that features a hardshell case, more outlets than the SPB-8, isolated jacks, and ultra low noise performance.

The Patch King has updated its downloadable AIFF and WAV file database with 100 new files, including new sounds from The Patch King's Hip Hop/R&B Mix for the Yamaha Motif Series. Each file package ($5) includes up to 30 samples. Complete information and MP3 demos can be found here.
