iZotope, Inc. has announced Goldbaby Productions' XRB ($29 before 7/23/06, $49 after), a collection of drum grooves and playable kits for use with iZotope iDrum and Apple GarageBand. XRB includes 256 iDrum Kits with preset grooves for each kit, for a total of 2,057 individual drum grooves. As well as the full collection, iZotope and Goldbaby are offering XRB Free, a set of 16 iDrum Kits and 74 Apple Loops not included in the full set. You can download XRB Free here.

McDSP has announced McDSP Native and HD product lines. McDSP Native products are full-featured versions of McDSP plug-ins supporting RTAS and Audiosuite plug-in formats, available in Classic Pack Native ($795) and Emerald Pack Native ($1,395) bundles. The existing McDSP product line will be renamed as the McDSP HD line and will continue to support TDM, RTAS, and Audiosuite plug-in formats.

ModernBeats.com has released Urban Percussion Loopz ($34.95), a loop library for all major music software and hardware samplers. Urban Percussion Loopz includes 200 percussion ensemble loops and features a variety of world and ethnic instruments.

Monster Cable has introduced Monster CableLinks ($14.95-$25.95), adapters that allow you to feed a single output source signal into multiple outputs, or interconnect between many different connector types, including XLR, RCA, Phono, Mono and Stereo 1/8" Mini Plug, 1/4" Mono and Stereo Phone Plugs, MIDI, and Banana.
