Access Music has released the Universal Binary version of Virus TI as a free update.

Beta Monkey Music has released Double Bass Mania II: The Return of the Beast ($29.99), a collection of more than 800 double-bass drum grooves, variations, fills, and samples meant for heavy metal tracks. Double Bass Mania is available in WAV and Apple Loops formats. The REX2 version will ship on September 18, 2006.

Kid Nepro has announced that the Patch King Podcast Volume 2: Music from the Caribbean is now available online. The Podcast features the music of Jamaica's Mikey General and Milton Blake, as well as Barbados's Magnet Man.
