Roland is shipping the Cube-80X Guitar Amplifier ($529), the latest in the Cube-Series lineup. The Cube-80X, which expands upon the Cube-60, features a switchable clean and lead channel design and delivers 80W of power through a 12-inch speaker.

The Cube-80X adds new, useful features for portable guitar amps, including a Looper function and Solo function with memory ability. The instantly recallable Solo function stores the settings of every Lead channel control, allowing easy use as a third channel, boost, and more. The unit provides ten onboard COSM amp models and six Roland effects with independently controllable delay and reverb.

Furthermore, the guitar amplifier offers a Tuner function and multiple inputs and outputs, including an auxiliary input for playing along with external MP3 or CD players.
