Roland is now shipping the TD-4S V-Compact Series V-Drums ($1,199 MSRP), the latest addition to V-Drums, featuring upgraded sounds, improved functionality, and an updated design.

The TD-4S offers the TD-4 Percussion Sound Module, which includes expressive drum and percussion sounds, and ambience effects that are optimized for drums. The unit also includes a snare pad with a multilayer mesh head, a four-legged drum stand, and Roland's natural playing cymbals and expressive hi-hat control.

Like other units in the V-Drums line, the TD-4S utilizes Rhythm Coach and Quick Record functions, as well as expansion with an optional pad or 3-way trigger CY-12R/C V-Cymbal. The TD-4S accepts the optional VH-11 V-Hi-Hat, which uses any standard hi-hat stand.
