studio.HD is the new music-creation app that offers eight multilayered audio tracks (24 total tracks of playback) with recording, editing, mixing, effects, automatic loop-tempo correction and a loop library—all under the command of an iPad touch interface.

Users can browse and audition loops arranged into Loop Sets that logically group instrument parts (drums, bass, guitars, keys, etc.) that work well together. Audition audio at the current project tempo and with the current arrangement. Other features include the ability to import loops from Mac and PC using the File Sharing feature in iTunes; edit/delete/copy/paste/loop audio parts; zoom in and out of arrangements; edit regions that can overlap and layer on each track; and more.

studio.HD will be available on the iTunes App Store September 28, 2010, for a special $7.99 intro price until the next version is released.
