SoundHack has announced that its suite of Spectral Shapers (Mac/Win) have been released in the Audio Unit plug-in format. MORE. The suite is available as a downloadable bundle, which includes VST versions for Mac OS 9 and OS X, and Windows. A boxed CD will be available soon.

SoundHack Spectral Shapers is a collection of four plug-ins based on processes from the program SoundHack. The collection includes Spectralcompand, a spectral compressor/expander suitable for (but not limited to) broadband noise reduction; Binaural, an HRTF spatializer with LFO; Morphfilter, a pair of drawable, variable depth filters that can morph between each other; and Spectralgate, a spectral gate and ducker which can used to bring out any part of a sound

The Spectral Shapers manual is included in the company's Web archive. Visit the Suggested Uses sections for a quick introduction to using the plug-ins.
