Spectrasonics Launches Stylus RMX 1.9

Thu,17 Sep 2009

Spectrasonics has released Stylus RMX 1.9, the company's first 64-bit native Mac software. The new version of the EM Editors' Choice-winning groove plug-in is now compatible with Apple's recently released 64-bit operating system Snow Leopard, and with the emerging 64-bit native host applications for music production on the Mac OS X platform. Native Windows 64-bit compatibility has been available since version 1.7, and Stylus RMX is now fully cross-platform 64-bit native software. It's still compatible with 32-bit Mac and Windows systems and hosts, too. The new version 1.9 also includes various technical fixes and compatibility updates with other recent software releases such as Apple's Logic 9.

Stylus RMX v1.9 is a free download for all registered users of Stylus RMX and is available now from the Spectrasonics Web site. The full retail package of Stylus RMX Xpanded, which includes five S.A.G.E. Xpanders, has an MSRP of $399.
