VirSyn has announced version 1.2.1 of Matrix (Mac/Win), which offers a number of new features and bugfixes.

Matrix now features an internal generator that can be used without MIDI note input; Line draw mode for channel matrix with shift+drag; the addition of an AU standard effect without MIDI; and the addition of an AU mono effect. As for bugfixes, MIDI learn is now fixed, and Matrix Users will now be notified automatically about the update and the download links.

If you already have a Syncrosoft dongle (Steinberg key), you may try a fully functional, time limited demo version of Matrix 1.2.1 at VirSyn's Web site.
