In the first part of this example, the mod wheel controls LFO modulation of OSC 1-3 waveshape, demonstrating pseudo-wavetable scanning. The second part consists of a bass patch (played live over a drum loop) that makes use of this mod-wheel technique while also assigning keyboard velocity as the modulation source for ‘stabbing'' at filter frequency. Long release times in both the frequency and amplitude envelopes mimic ambience or reverb.
