Quick Pick Review: Tascam DP-004 Web Clip 1

Web Clip 1: For this example, I first recorded some drum loops from my Roland XP-80 keyboard onto track 1. Next I used the DP-004''s built-in mic to overdub nylon-string guitar on track 2, recorded Fender bass direct into a ¼-inch input on track 3, and put a Rhodes patch from the XP-80 on track 4. Then I exported the discrete tracks as WAV files to my Mac and imported them into my DAW, where I added some signal processing, did a final stereo mix, and converted the mixdown to MP3.
