 LCD Soundsystem has announced a series of North American headline dates in support of its forthcoming third album, This Is Happening, which will be released May 18 in the U.S. on DFA/Virgin.

Commencing with a May 20-21 two night stand at New York City's Terminal 5, the new shows are preceded by LCD's April 16 Coachella main stage set and an almost completely sold out April 20-May 9 UK/Europe tour. A previously announced May 30 appearance at the Sasquatch festival in George WA falls in the middle of the dates, which wrap June 9 at the Palladium in Dallas. Following that date, LCD Soundsystem's June 11 appearance at the Bonnaroo in Manchester TN will kick off a summer festival run, running through to Sept. 12's Bestival on the Isle of Wight and including a July 17 headline slot at the Pitchfork music festival in Chicago as well as appearances at Reading and Leeds.
