Rolls
has released the RM82 Mic/Line Mixer ($300), an 8-channel microphone and line
mixer in a single rack space. Each channel features a balanced XLR input, a
balanced 1/4-inch TRS input, and individually switched 48V phantom power. The
Main Output is a single balanced XLR jack. There are two RCA jacks: one acts
as a pre-master output, and the other as an Aux/Bus Input.
Using the internal jumpers, each line input can be reconfigured as direct outputs or insert jacks. Each channel includes level, tone, and trim controls, and the overall output volume is adjusted using the master level control.
